27 mi, 2,054 ft, PV Gravel with Library Switchbacks - Ride Leader : Bob Kellogg

Starting from MB Pier at 8:30, we swing by Capt Kidd's, then head up to PV to warm up on some familiar trails.  The Boundary Trail has been quite sandy over the summer, but hopefully the rains have firmed things up.  The highlight of this ride is the steep switchbacks behind the Malaga Cove library.  The switchbacks are definitely not for beginners, but there is an alternate route. The rest of the ride is beginner friendly.  A mountain bike would be best for this ride, but your ride leader will be on a gravel bike.
